Invitation for 5th Biennial Conference DDNPTM-2016 :

Following upon the success of the 4th International Conference  DDNPTM-2014 (Please navigate through archives and photo gallery), the Department of Natural Products at NIPER, has decided to continue the same platform. This year the theme of the conference is 'Innovations'. Innovations are keystone to the process of discovery. It is vital to innovate if we want ot explore the vast array of compunds hidden in the natural resources and ofter deciphered but locked in our traditional knowledge. I am pleased to announce and invite all stakeholders from academia, industry, clinical research organization, R&D institutions and regulatory agencies all around the globe to this biennial event.

This meeting will offer real opportunities to discuss fresh issues, adancement in discovery tools to tackle complex problems and find workable, cost effective solutions to set new trends in research interacted with natural products and traditional medicines to meet the ever increasing global health care needs.

The fifth DDNPTM conference will be held from 18 to 20 November, 2016 at National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) SAS Nagar, Mohali, Punjab-160062. Registration dates will be announced shortly.

Looking forward to meet you in November, 2016 at Tricity - The City Beautiful (Chandigarh with Panchkula and Mohali) of modern and vibrant India.

Aim of DDNPTM-2016 :

Natural Products have been long regarded as mainstay of Drug-Discovey programms. India, with its rich biodiversity and millennia old traditional medicinal system of Ayurveda, offers a unique opportunity for drug discovery from natural sources. Research inputs to provide scientific basis of Ayurveda are need of the hour. The outlook may cater the pharma industry to enhance the Drug-Discovery programms in India. The conference will provide a platform for networking international and national researchers and pharma industry to reap benifits from Mother Nature's Combi-lab. The deliberation may offer solutions to the pressing challenges in the field and address the unmet need of health care systems.
